Also yesterday, I saw Mary Lou Lord at Park Street. It was the first time I had seen her since moving back to Boston is September. It was a pleasant surprise.

At the Diesel store in Harvard Square, their window display consists of all of these stacked cubes with pictures on them. Most prominent is a series of shots of two handsome guys with an attractive girl. They're all laughing and having a good time. All three of them. Even when it looks as though the two guys are trying to pull the girl's sweater off (which so wonderfully displays her breasts that you can see through the sweater), they're all laughing and having a good time. All three of them. They're having a good time. I see people walk by this store everyday. And everyday, people stop and stare at the display. I don't think that hardly any of these people are women; at least I don't recall any. All men and most of them are older. Perhaps they can't resist the urge to stare at a young woman's semi-concealed nipples or perhaps they want to be one of those handsome guys or perhaps they thinking they want to enjoy that young woman a little further like the pictures imply these guys will or have. But there are the three people on those cubes smiling, laughing and having a good time...being exploited and perpetuating that exploitation. Enjoy. I have. Disappointing, isn't it?

Sometimes I like to contribute. Even when I sound kind of stupid.
