My friend Chris Stain has an interview at stencilarchive.org. Check it out here.

Also my friend Lenny has a site up now. Check it out at here. Some other friends have sie in the works if they can ever actually get to work on them. Hint.

I have come to two conclusions tonight. Hackers could very well be one of the worst movies ever made and El-P's Fantastic Damage could very well be one of the best records made this year.

I just found out that Crocket Dog was put down on Friday. She had a good run of 18 years. Now, Jiva Puppy is kind of down.

Annoying. There has been a fly buzzing around my office all afternoon. It's driving me nuts. Especially since my "office," affectionately referred to as "the cubby-hole," is about five by ten feet. Literally.

Last night's events? Thunderstorms with huge lightning bolts stretching across the sky. Pizza with Ms. Paci and Buffalo 66. "I'm gonna kill you and then I'm never gonna speak to you again."

Telemarketers or bill collectors calling at 9 am on a Sunday? I don't think so. Thank you caller id! Perhaps I should invest in a Telezapper.

Still raining. Very blah outside. Dropped Natetrain off at work at 6:30 am. Just finished some pancakes and fake sausage. Mmm... pancakes and fake sausage...

Looking outside my window, since I have woken, I have watched the sky turn from an inky blue to a soft lavender to a soft blue. The rain hasn't seemed to have stopped from last night, though it has lost its punch as it's now gently hitting my window, barely audible. In a strange way, it is all rather soothing and comforting.

The strangest thing has just happened. The other day, I noticed that all of my posts in June have had the wrong time stamps when published. They were an hour behind the time of the actually tiem the post was made. The time was correct in the Blogger interface, but when published the time stamp jumps back. I just sent in a support request using Blogger's new Public Mind powered support. Of course, the first post I make after submitting the request, all published time stamps are correct. I hate it when things like that happen.

So, it's just after 4 am and I've been up for a half an hour. to 45 minutes. I woke up and just can't sleep. It's one of those things where you can't get comfortable, your mind wanders, and your joints hurt. I am an old man.

I also have been having more of those dreams where you wake up and think the person in your dreams is right there with you. You talk to that person and they never respond. You reach out to touch that person and you just grasp at air. Then you kind of come to - somewhat defeated, somewhat embarrassed and somewhat sad. The whole thing is kind of strange. Ms. Paci and I breifly discussed such weird dreams the other day as she dropped me off at my car. We came to no conclusions.

Also currently going through that awkward period where people tell you that "we should hang out" but all you get is voicemail when you call and never a call back. I know. There could be a number of reasons for people not calling you back, but when left to an overactive mind, thoughts can run wild.

Are filesharing and cd burning consumers the blame for the drop in music industry sales? Not really.

Pictures from the Dorfman, Denny and Cook BBQ of June 9, 2002, are here. Note format and pictures may change as the management is not entirely satisfied with the way they are now.

Definitely not looking forward to work tomorrow, er, uh... in a little over six hours.

There is still some minor clean up that needs to take place, but from what was a questionable, rainy start, it turned into a great day for a cookout with good friends and good food. It started at 2 pm and Ms. Paci left about about a half an hour ago. Ms. Davis snapped some shots and hopefully those will be up soon.
