Dilemma: The other day I got one of these to hook up to my dsl service. My pc connects fine to the dsl service through the router, but my roommate's iMac cannot connect. When I look at the DHCP tables on the router, the iMac is there along with my pc. The iMac's TCP/IP settings are the same as my pc. This couldn't be an iMac/MacOS/Apple problem, right? It should be just a straight forward DHCP via TCP/IP thing, right? Still it doesn't work. To any of the three people that even see this site, if you have any potential solutions let me know. Oh. By the way, the dsl was originally hooked up to the iMac and it always worked fine. No problems. I might have to have a word or two with Linksys, Steve, and James Earl Jones. Any and all help is greatly appreciated.

I finally saw it today. It is an astounding piece of art. I could never see another movie again this year and I would be completely satisfied. Of course, I have plans to see it again with someone else. It's just the question of how to get there.

I just finished watching River's Edge. I haven't seen it in a while. Crispin Glover is amazing.

Lazy Saturday. Not feeling like doing a thing. The past few weekends have been hectic. It's a nice change of pace.

DSL has arrived. Only Lila's computer is hooked up now. The router should arrive anyday now.

So, this is my first post using the new Blogger server, that myself and a whole boatload full of people helped pay for.

Kerry Davis rocks. There are many reasons for this, but in this particular instance is because she took the time out of her extremely busy holiday schedule to send me a postcard from Hawaii. She assured me that she did not pick up any tikis or run into Vincent Price. That would be really scary, especially since he's dead.

Smaller than a pony, but just as fun? Is it bigger than a bread box? (Probably not.) I'm sure it's more (more!) fun than a pony and, yes, I'm smiling already! I have more to share with you on this -- just remind me.

Last night we talked on the phone for the first time. I babbled. I rambled. I spoke of silly things: broken bones, Norm, siblings and celebrities, etc. This may sound strange, but she sounds exactly as imagined her to sound. The whole affair made me quite happy.
